Again here’s another brand that won’t break the bank. W7 offers a large range of makeup products from mascaras, foundations to
nail polishes and eye shadow palettes, even down to brushes.
Today I’m going to show you two eye colour palettes “In The Buff” and
“In The Nude”. These are more or less a dupe on the “Urban Decay Naked
Palettes” from the colours right down to packaging but costing a fraction of
the cost.
Each set consist of 12 natural nude colours with a combination of
shimmers and mattes, a dual tip applicator. I didn’t think much of the
applicator the sponge felt cheap going nowhere when applying the shadows, the
brush was ok soft which applied the shadow with a little easy, would be alright
to use if you were in hurry and just applying one colour.
The shadows themselves are of fairly high quality with 9 shimmer and 3
matte shades. The shimmers colours are
not over done with the fairy shimmer dust, TG because at my age to much shimmer
could make me look a lot older then I am. Now I like my shimmer but not over the top, a
very light dusting does me just fine and seam to use mattes a lot more.
In The Buff
(Left to Right)1.Buff 2.Camel 3.Sand 4.Dust 5.Chocolate
6.Topaz 7.Earth 8.Storm 9.Silk
10.Wave 11.Thunder
12.Onyx
The pigmentation is fairly good I nave used better but there not the
worst in the world. I would say maybe up
to 5 hours wear before touch up is needed.
In The Nude
(Left to Right)1.Latte 2.Angel 3.Venice 4.Marilyn
5.Copper Pot 6.Sun Kissed 7.Alice
8.Bad Manners 9.Coffee Cup 10.Mud Slide 11.Tokyo
12.Fashionista
The only down side to these shadows is the fall out when applying which
we all know is a right royal pain in the ass and this is due to them being
incredibly soft and smooth almost silky. This can be avoided as much as
possible with the right application of pressing the shadow on and not rubbing
or brushing back and forth, I would also recommend using a good primer.
Also the colour Latte in the In The Nude palette is very pale, it’s that
pale you can't even see it on my arm in the picture above and I even added a
little primer to see if I could get it any better.
Out of all 24 colours within the two palettes there is not one I
wouldn’t use, well maybe the Onyx and Thunder from In The Buff and Fashionista
from In The Nude I wouldn’t use allot of.
So if you are looking for something to experiment with or just starting
out with your make up collection, these two palettes with stunning colours can
take you from day to night, allowing you to create as many looks as you like
and without breaking the bank are cheap as chips costing €7.99 and sometimes
cheaper depending on where you purchase from and are available nationwide from
a large selection of pharmacies.
