Artistry Signature Eyes Automatic Liquid Eyeliner Review

Your Beauty Gossip

Before I start to tell you about Signature Eyes Automatic Liquid Eyeliner, can I just remind you that liquid eyeliners and myself don't get on, for more than one reason other than the fact I always seem to make a mess of it. Well that was until now!

According to Amway the manufactures of Artistry the eyeliner is an
"All-out colour that glides on smoothly for a range of looks from natural to ultra-bold. It's fast-drying, water-resistant finish with a hint of sheen. You'll love its tapered, felt-tip applicator that provides ultimate control for precise application" and I don't think I can argue with that statement.

The packaging is quite elegant and simple, gold on black and comes in both black and brown. While the liner it's self, is a simple pencil with a felt tip applicator that seats comfortable in the hand for easy controlled application (which for me is a good thing). The tip is soft yet stiff if that makes sense? The pigmentation is strong especially in the black and its quite fast drying which at first was a turn off for me. But once I used it a few times I was pleasantly surprised how easy I was able to apply a simple natural line fast and with the help of the old sellotape trick a more dramatic line for a smokey night time look.

Now it's not completely waterproof and you would need a whole lot of crying before it would run or smudge, just don't get caught in a heavy downpour or you will end up streaked black cheeks. Removing the liner doesn't require eye-makeup remover, a cotton pad soaked in a little warm water and pressed to the eye will do the job but will require a little rubbing which we all know is not good for the delicate skin around the eye.

So over all what do I think? I like it and found it simple to control compared to other liquid liners I've used and messed up with  but just like the Little Black Dress eye palette the price is not worth it! €33.00 is something I wouldn't and can't justify for a brand that's not yet well known in Ireland.
