W7 Beat It! Natural Nudes Eye Shadow Palette Review

Irish Beauty Blogger

On a recent trip to one of my local pharmacies I spotted a new W7 Cosmetics stand with two new eye palettes, Beat It and Smokin. So what else would a beauty junkie do but pick them up and sure why not? At €    you can’t go wrong and sure its for wok after all.

So let’s take a quick look at the Beat It palette first.
The packaging looks and feels a little stronger then the standard W7 packaging with 3D Polk a dot design. Inside we have 12 eyeshadows a mixture of matt, shimmer and glitter. All 12 colours are a beautiful mix of natural earthy pink, brown and copper tones and appropriately named. Of course there’s the standard double-ended brush/sponge tip applicator.

As always the picture on the back of the packaging are never like what the colours look like inside, so please be aware of this and never judge from the picture alone.

On first swatching I was wow the pigmentation has greatly improved compared to In The Buff, In TheNude In The Night and even Lightly Toasted palettes, even the lighter tones showed depth. Another thing I noticed was the shimmer tones were more a metallic then shimmer especially when used with a good eye primer.

With talc listed as the first indigent and judging from the previous palettes there was no surprise to find the formula powdery but there was something different about this one I’m not sure what. It felt less gritty, softer yet the listed indigents are the same, there was definitely less fall-out compared to the others.

Now W7 is well known for being dupes on other high-end brands, but this one seems to be stand-alone or one of their own because I just couldn’t find anything that I could say it defiantly was a dupes for. If you know or have come across anything, will you please let us know?

  1. k (I keep mine on my key ring), and only weighs 1 ounce when full of lighter fluid. With the rubber O-ring installed, the lighter is both water-proof and it will hold fluid indefinitely. If you own a "Zippo" type lighter, you know that is not the case with most flint style lighters. I have been on camping trips where my Zippo was dead after just a few days, even with light use, because the fluid will simply evaporate without an air-tight seal.Candle Lighter
