BRYT Skincare A New Generation Botanical Beauty Review

Your Beauty Gossip
When you are introduced to a brand that has been created from pure passion and raw emotion, you just know that it will be a brand worth sitting up and paying attention to!

BRYT Skincare is a new generation botanical Skincare range for both women and men of all ages. The range is free from sulphates and any other nasty chemicals, BRYT Skincare is all about treating, conserving and preserving the skin whether it’s oily, combination or maturing skin. Packed full of natural antioxidants this new skincare promises to add the extra nourishment and protection your skin needs in the fight against the natural ageing process.

Established in the UK by a beautiful and heartfelt lady – Catkin Wemyss-Bodmer, who in her own right has a strong passion for healthy living and believes in the importance of a good skincare regime from an early age. Her love for aromatherapy and phytotherapy along with her knowledge from working for a PR company for a well-known skincare brand started her on a journey to create a range of products that fed and nourished the skin, naturally, honestly and effectively but without breaking the bank.

Taking the holistic routine BRYT Skincare contains unique Advanced Phytoscience System (APS), naturally derived antioxidants of organic Kakadu, Burdekin and Illawarra plums help protect, detoxify and exfoliate the skin. While added ingredients of Aloe-Vera, Alantoin and essential oils smooth, calms and heals the skin.

I was lucky to be gifted a sample of their Calm Serum at their launch into Ireland back in September and was so impressed with what I’d seen and learnt that I have since got my hands on their Cleanser, Day and Night Moisturizer and the Nourishing Serum, but please don’t tell my husband I spent €100 in one go.

So let’s take a look at what I think of these new products.

BRYT Cleanse 100ml, €20.95

The facial foaming cleanser is something I’m not a huge fan off but I must say it did a decent job in removing all traces of make-up. It’s light and foamy and got to work straight away cleansing the face without drying out the skin (which I find happens a lot with foam cleansers). There was no redness or tightness to the skin and the little muslin mitt that comes with the cleanser helped make light of the work in removing product from the face.

BRYT Calm Serum 30ml, €24.50

I’m currently using this serum as a primer for my foundation and it’s pretty impressive. Created for combination to oily skin it helps rebalance the skin from deep within the skin layers. A light creamy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin calming any redness on the cheeks or forehead, leaving it smooth and soft. The scent of Rose and Sandalwood is quite noticeable in this serum but not over powering; in fact I found it to be quite relaxing.

BRYT Nourish Serum 30ml, €28.50
With a lot of hydrating ingredients like African Baobab oil, Hyaluronic Acid and essential oils from Rosemary, Basil, Lavender and Jasmine this is my favourite product from the whole rang. Especially formulated for dry dehydrated skin. A rich gel-like texture this serum is a must have for maturing skin. It absorbs instantly penetrating deep into the skin layers that you can actually feel it working to hydrate and revive the skin from within. My skin felt so smooth and silky, bright and refreshed that I actually believe this to be one of the best anti-ageing serums I’ve tried and it smells divine.

BRYT Day 50ml, €24.95

This moisturizer is suitable for all skin types and contains SPF15 which is a must have to help fight the signs of ageing. A very light cream almost like a lotion with Green Tea, Lemon, Mandarin and African Mongongo oils to mention a few absorbs pretty quickly but I’m sorry to say I found that it didn’t give my skin which is very dehydrated and dry that extra hydration it needed even with a serum it just lacked that extra punch. In saying that my skin did feel soft and smooth but I just couldn’t feel it (if that makes sense) but what I did like and because I suffer with Mila was the lightness of the formula and that it didn’t cake into my pores and believe me with Mila you don’t want that happening.

BRYT Night 50ml, €28.95

Now this was just perfect for my weathered skin that I actually used it very lightly as my day moisturizer first thing in the morning. A rich creamy but not heavy texture that just melts into the skin is packed with skin nourishment that heals your skin. So if you suffer from dry patchy skin, eczema, acne or rosacea do out and get yourself this cream. With ingredients such as Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Palma Rose, Chinese Geranium and Lavender you will be in dream land in no time and while you sleep your skin will be deeply nourished and hydrated, any redness and swelling from acne or rosacea will be reduced and you will wake in the morning to a bright, fresher looking face.

There is also a BRYT Remover 100ml, €16.95, BRYT Boost Serum 30ml, €29.95 and BRYT Essential Serum 30ml, €24.50 in the range for women and all the products contain the Advanced Phytoscience System (APS).

The packaging is bright, colourful and very eye-catching which could be a little bit of a turn off for maturing buyers but defiantly added attraction for the younger buyers. Each box as you open it has a gentle reminder to “Remember” to drink plenty of water, take regular exercise and get lots of sleep. BRYT Skincare DO NOT test on animals or do they do business where animal testing is allowed.

Would I recommend the skincare range?   Hell YES, its effective, affordable, natural and if you follow the 3-step process of Cleansing, Nourishing and Protecting your skin that BYRT Skincare advocates and you will have an uncomplicated yet effective skincare regime.

BRYT Skincare will be available from selected Pharmacies and independent stores nationwide

and online at www.beautyboutique.ie
